VINTAGE
THORENS MUSIC POWDER BOX
Beautiful
vintage Thorens music box, the top of the box was used
for a powder box and had a mirror in the cover at one
time. The box is 3'' high and 3 1/2'' in diameter. The
box is made fo a gold color metal with a filigree design,
it is standing on 3 ornate leaf feet. it has a total of
four large blue stones one on the top and one on each
side. It plays ROSE-MARIE and still has a exceptional
tone. Bottom is marked Thorens Co. New Hyde Park N.Y.
Made in Switzerland.

This
is absolutely like new. Never opened and never used.
Early-1900s vintage. Box is about 1 5/8 inches high
and 2 3/8 by 3 1/8 inches across the top. Even the paper

Stunning Vintage
Jeweled Covered Gold Metal Jar-Apollo?
This
jeweled covered vanity jar is stunning! I do not see a
maker’s mark or name, but it looks like an Apollo
piece to me.
There’s a glass insert that
sets inside an ornate gold filigree metal base. The base
has three ball feet.
The top features multi-color stones
and ornate raised floral ornamentation.
The condition is excellent. The
glass insert is free of cracks or chips.
The circumference is 14 ¾”.
The top is 4 ¾” long and 4 ¾”
wide. The piece is 2 ¼” high.
This is truly a gorgeous piece
to add to your vanity.

Face Powder - Sealed
This is a premium box of Jasmine Face Powder of Southern
France by Lorie. The box is in near mint condition and
has the original contents under seal. There is one tiny
area on the seal where it is trying to break through but
it is not a problem with the box. The box measures 2.5"
square and the shade is Naturelle. The graphics on this
box are wonderful and this is a rare find. ID=Powder16

Sealed box of vintage
Jardin De Rose Face Powder by the American Toilet Goods
Co. The box measures 2.75" square and features
a metal snap closure. The shade is Flesh and there is
a 1.25 cent Proprietary tax stamp affixed to the side
of the box. The overall condition of the box is near
mint with only some minor fading and spotting on the
lid due to normal handling and age.

Vintage Helen Dawn Face Powder

Sealed
box of Helen Dawn Face Powder. The shade is Rachel and
it is the 2.5 ounce size. The box measures 3" in
diameter and is 2" tall. The exterior of the box
is in near mint condition and the interior is the same.
The bottom of the box which has the product information
printed on a white sticker has some minor rubbed areas
which are very hard to note and this is the only flaw

VINTAGE “SEALED”
AVON FINISHING FACE POWDER MED
An
excellent find for vintage cosmetic collectors. This is
a vintage box of Avon Finishing loose face powder. The
box is full and is net.wt. of 2.5 oz. The color is called
just Medium Finish. I don’t have any idea how old
this is, but the seal is not broken on the contents. The
powder inside looks very usable. There is no cosmetic
puff in this box (don’t know if it even came with
one). The box is not broken and in stable condition however,
the box does have discoloration and spotted with some
sort of stain. I did not try to clean this box because
I was afraid I would mess up the exterior of the box and
wipe off some of the print. Please see the photos. ID=Powder21
